Hearing Experiment: Vinyl, CD or MP3? Musik Express magazine decides

A few months ago we were asked whether we could do an experiment for the music magazine Musik Express: three different test candidates listening to different pieces of music in succession in each case on record, CD and MP3 and exclusively on the basis of listening to check out in which order the different formats have been played. The article is now available in the current issue of the magazine to read to the experiment, but we also have some impressions recorded in words and pictures.

Beyerdynamic T1 – 2. Generation: Workshop 18th September at HiFi im Hinterhof

Just recently our team member Daniel, who's responsible for the headphone Studio at HiFi im Hinterhof, illustrated the benefits of listening to music on headphones in a video. In keeping with the theme, we look forward to hosting a workshop from Beyerdynamic presenting the new MKII headphones as part of the 2015 IFA program. This will take place on the 18th of Septmeber at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm. Gunter Weidemann will be there to explain the improvements made carefully against the already excellent predecessor with the Beyerdynamic-specific Tesla technology. Moreover, it will of course give ample opportunity to hear the new T1. We are excited and looking forward to your visit!

Panasonic TVs: The CXW804 and CRW854 Series in A Nutshell

Having already have announced the availability of several new TV models of the major manufacturers Samsung, LG, Sony and Panasonic in recent months, now the top class series of Panasonic in Curved- (CRW854) or Flat design are (CXW804) in the starting blocks. Now the 55" model of the flat variant, the Panasonic TX-55CXW804 is in stock and we are able to test out its new performance. Here we take this opportunity to briefly introduce the new devices.

Transition to DVB-T2: The End of DVB-T Expected By Late 2018

As of February this year, the future of terrestrial television in Germany has been a done deal. Since the German government is planning to reserve the previously used for the DVB-T transmission 700 MHz frequency band for the expansion of mobile broadband Internet, giving way to the digital terrestrial television in the range between 470 MHz and 690 MHz this means that an update is on the way.
